LM Information Delivery has been selected as a supplier in journal subscription management services by Hansel Ltd, the central procurement unit of the Finnish government, for the next four years. LM Information Delivery is the only Finnish supplier among three suppliers selected.
“As a Finnish supplier we are able to offer libraries and information services, within the sphere of the agreement, expert Finnish-language customer service and extensive technical support. Our customer service and technical support organisation, the largest in the Nordic countries, serves customers within the sphere of the agreement in the Finnish language between 7.30 a.m. and 6 p.m. Finnish time. Hansel customers are served by our Finnish customer service with over 50 information service professionals. If necessary, our technical support service can be on-site at a library within four hours of a fault report being made. LM Information Delivery also offers free training and free trial use of new services throughout Finland,” says the CEO of LM Information Delivery Janne Järvinen.
“Our diverse services and advanced technical solutions bring cost-efficiency to journal subscriptions management. Our agreed offer percentages to libraries, within the sphere of the Hansel agreement, also bring cost savings, particularly to libraries whose resource acquisitions are mainly professional journals and scientific publications,” adds Sales Director Jussi Kettunen.
Kettunen believes that the services offered by LM Information Delivery will be of great interest to Hansel agreement customers. The company can provide, among other things, unique integrations with Finnish library systems as well as advanced e-resource access and management services, such as the LibERM licence management software, which helps libraries manage their license agreements.
“We look forward with enthusiasm to cooperating with customers within the sphere of the Hansel agreement. We have reviewed the content of the agreement in detail and we can offer agreement customers tailored services corresponding to the needs of each organisation,” explains Sales Director Jussi Kettunen.
