LibNet® is a web-based tool designed to manage the complete life cycle of our customers’ electronic and printed journal subscriptions. Using LibNet it is easy to place orders, claims and search for journal titles online from one single interface, easily, with only few clicks.
LibNet contains all of the most essential functions related to subscription management. You can search for journals, place new subscriptions, renew subscriptions, gather information about e-journals and licenses, perform journal check-in, print out circulation lists, place claims, order sample issues and create subscription reports in Excel and PDF -formats.
LibNet is suitable for libraries, organizations and corporations of all sizes. The subscription module consists of more than 330,000 titles. LibNet is available in English, Swedish, Norwegian, Danish, Dutch and Finnish.
LibNet Benefits
Advanced search – Journals can be browsed via basic or advanced search. The publication data includes a journal description, cover picture, name, price, ISSN number, frequency, current volume, licensing information and the registration of e-journals. The system also indicates whether or not the customer already holds a subscription to a title
Subscription Module– You can place your journal subscriptions online. LM Information Delivery’s customer service team then processes and checks your subscription data before sending your subscription to the publisher
Renewals – When you renew or update your subscriptions via LibNet subscription management tool your renewals are activated automatically and without the delays associated with the manual processing of renewal forms. You will receive automatic notification when your subscription period is up for renewal. LibNet significantly reduces the amount of administration usually associated with subscription renewal
Journal check-in – LibNet includes a separate journal check-in -function. LibNet also stores the publishing schedules for thousands of publications as announced by the publishers. LibNet also contains publishing schedules announced by libraries such as the Library of Congress.
Claims -The claims function enables you to place a claim and then track the progress of that claim. You are able to view the actions taken by your account executive and the responses made by the publisher.
Reporting –LibNet offers a suite of reports that can be tailored to meet the needs of each individual customer and are available in Excel and PDF formats. Popular reports include:-claims, e-publication availability, price projection and frequency.
Administrative accounts – A library can create several administrative accounts within LibNet enabling you to set up bespoke access levels according to the requirements of different users. Additionally, it is easy to change your contact or invoicing information in LibNet.

LibLicence enables you to find up-to-date license and user rights information for thousands of e-journals. The information is presented in a standardized format to facilitate ease of use and comparison. You can save your customer -specific negotiated license information with LibLicense whether your collection contains individual journals or larger e-collections. LM Information
Delivery continuously collects and immediately updates license information from international and local publishers.

TOC- article service
LibNet-users can set up TOC Alerts on 13,000 titles so that you can keep track of the latest articles. Using the TOC service customers can also order individual articles from over 54,000 publications. The TOC alert delivers tables of contents to customers’ inboxes as they are made available by the publisher. Customers can set up alerts based on pre- selected titles entered into their personal TOC profile. The selected articles can then be purchased for an additional fee and will be delivered by e mail to your inbox. The TOC article service is an efficient and effective tool for libraries and information services in all sectors.
